Prague, Czech Republic, is on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites and home to tourist attractions such as Prague Castle and Hradcany, Josefov (Jewish Quarter), Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge, Dancing House, John Lennon Wall, Zizkov Tower and the Astronomical Clock.
Situated on the River Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague has been the political, cultural, and economic center of the Czech state for over 1100 years. And, was the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. The city proper is home to nearly 1.2 million people, while its metropolitan area is estimated to have a population of almost 2 million.
Prague is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe (it is in my eyes) and is among the most visited cities on the continent.
